That infectious smile...I just want to grab you and kiss you and hug you.  When I first saw you I cried because you looked so much like my new babies.  It took me back to the day the doctor handed your Mummy to me for the first time.

You are fun and a delight to be with.  Your mischief making eyes tell the world to look out because Reeve is here and full of life. Your beautiful big heart may get you in trouble one day but always try and love all who you come in contact with.

You love your Sissy so much and have always looked out for her.  You watch her and try to do everything she does.

 

You have always greeted me with love and caring and I hope that over the years to come you will always stay my friends and that you remember I will always love you and cherish you.

INDIA

6 weeks before you were born I had a heart attack.  One of my major worries was that I would never get to meet you on this earth.  I would never get to kiss and love you and lend a helping hand to raise you.  Your mummy came to visit me in hospital and all I could pray for was for Heavenly Father to let me stay long enough to see you. Now you are nearly 5 and we have shared some wonderful times together.  I hope I am blessed to continue to share this wonderful journey with you.

You have a wonderful sense of humour and your ability to say "no, no ,no" to your Granny, has always made me laugh.

Thank you for loving me and I promise I will always love you.  I hope that our eternal connection will always be in our lives..

I have seen so little of you and your growing, and have not been able to share in your love yet. But I watch you on facebook and pray that one day I will be able to show you how much you are loved.  When you were born your dad called me at 4 in the morning, and with tears in his voice, told me you had arrived and he could not believe how much he loved you.

Shortly after your birth I got to spend 2 weeks with you.  I remember seeing your beautiful flaming red hair and being in awe.  Your great Grandmother Smylie always wanted a baby with red hair and she was sooooo overjoyed.

You are my baby doll with a baby doll mouth to kiss.  I look forward to being able to kiss and cuddle you.  I love you.  Be strong and true to yourself.

JACOB

You were slow to make your entrance in to this world.  Your mum and dad had to wait an extra 10 days to see your little face.  But after much pushing and coaxing you were welcomed with much love and relief.

I have missed a lot of your growing but the very first time you saw me as a toddler I am sure you recognised me and I remember seeing the dawning of love in your eyes.

Your big brother and sister could not wait to get their hands on you.  When Elena first saw you she nearly climbed in the cradle with you and Noah could not wait to investigate you.

 I love you and really look forward to getting to know you more and seeing your cheeky little smile and grin light up the world.

ELENA

All because 2 people fell in love!!!!

This beautiful little grand girl was born.  When I first saw you I was so in love with you that I burst into tears.  You were laying in your carry pram fast asleep, you reminded me of your father cause you had your hand up at your face and I remember him sleeping like this.  I just could not wait to hold you and love you and kiss you.  

I was so thrilled that your mum trusted me with you when she had her shower.  I took you into my bed and just watched you and drank in your beauty and sweet spirit.  

I remember walking on the beach with you and saw your little footprint in the sand and hoped that you would always remember that I will always walk with you and be by your side, for you are my eldest grand daughter and so wanted and cherished.

Your love of life and freedom of spirit has always made you a joy to watch and talk to.  You are a clever little girl and I know that Heavenly Father has some great plans in store for you.

NOAH:

Ever since I first saw you I have felt you are a soft quiet soul.

You are thoughtful and take your time to assess the world.  If you like it, you will embrace it and feel wonder.  If you don't like it, you will turn away and pretend that you couldn't hear it or just run and hide.

You love cuddles, but aren't so fond of kisses, but will give them out if you have to.

As you have grown, I have missed a lot of that growth but when I have seen you, you have always loved me and made me feel very cherished in your life.

I love you Noah and will always strive to be your best friend.

HELLO, IS ANYBODY OUT THERE?????

Since everybody is returning to the blog or is it only me who has forgotten to express my love and gratitude for man kind (or is that mankind)? 

It has been a couple of years since I last blogged and lots and lots has happened but over all Heavenly Father has been pretty good to me.

I am by no means as eloquent at this blogging thing as my daughter and daughter-in-law but should and will try to use it as my diary of gratitude going forward.
